Bishop’s Ridge: Stoney Camp and Recreation Center

 

Nestled at the southern end of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Chain in northern New Mexico, Bishop’s Ridge: Stoney Camp and Recreation Center is the perfect setting for a group camping experience as well as for a private retreat.  Enjoy a time of rest, relaxation, play, and spiritual renewal surrounded by enormous pine trees, wide-open blue sky, wildlife, and abundant sunshine.  Spanning more than 200 acres at 7,400 feet above sea level, the Stoney Camp and Recreation Center bridges the gap between the serenity of rugged wilderness and the modern conveniences of city life.  Situated on the historic Old Santa Fe Trail, it is only 25 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza and only 45 minutes from the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

 

Cabins on site

Cabins are traditional bunk bed houses were mostly shared open space is designed for group camping experiences.  There are 4 Cabins that can accommodate 14 guests each and 2 Cabins that can accommodate 18 guests each. The Cabins are in a traditional set up for youth church camping offering 2 section each with a single shared bathhouse (4 showers/4 toilets/5 sinks)

4 Cabins have bathrooms with single showers, of which 2 are wheelchair accessible. Cabins are for sleeping accommodations only and you must provide own linens, sleeping bags, towels, pillows and toiletries.

 

Bishop’s Ridge Tent Camping

There is plenty of space for tent camping! All tents will need to be setup on the soccer field across for the main lodge. Please be sure to Genre your tent, having a genre tent will ensure that more of our photo’s from the weekend will meet our requirements to be published and help keep the immersion of Dystopia Rising.
